NLD FCC 1.2.0.0 Released — A Fresh Start!

NLD FCC 1.2.0.0 Released — A Fresh Start!

When we first released NLD FCC a few weeks ago, the launch did not go exactly the way we wanted.

To be completely honest, the first version fell short on it's face.
Several conflicting bugs made the app behave unpredictably for many users causing problems all kinds of confusion.
With version 1.2.0.0, we have worked hard to find, understand and fix the underlying issues properly, test the app thoroughly, and make sure the experience now matches what NLD FCC was intended to be from the beginning.

What has changed in version 1.2.0.0?

Massive bug fixes

A large number of bugs have been fixed in this release, including several conflicting issues that could cause features to behave unpredictably or fail even when everything appeared to be set up correctly.

The result is a much more stable and reliable version of NLD FCC.

FCC keepalive for Smart Remotes

For Smart Remotes, NLD FCC now maintains FCC persistently while the NLD FCC app is running.

This means FCC remains active continuously in the background, bypassing DJI’s latest patch behavior entirely while the app is running.

Thoroughly tested across drones and remotes

Version 1.2.0.0 has been tested with a wide range of drones, remote controllers, firmware versions, and flight apps.

The compatibility lists on the product pages have also been verified and updated, so users can rely on them when choosing the correct license.

If your drone and remote are listed as supported, and the instructions are followed correctly, NLD FCC is now expected to work as intended.

Improved in-app help screens

We have also improved the in-app help screens based on user feedback.

The goal is to make setup clearer, reduce confusion, and help users understand exactly what steps are required for their specific drone and remote combination.

Free trial reset for everyone

Because the first release was affected by too many issues, we have reset expired trial keys.

This means that even if you already used your test period during the first release, you can now try NLD FCC again with version 1.2.0.0.

We believe this is the right thing to do. Users who tried the first version did not always get a fair chance to test the product properly, and this reset gives everyone a clean second shot.

A better release, properly tested

NLD FCC 1.2.0.0 is the release we wanted the first version to be.

It is stable and reliable, thoroughly tested, and easier to use. We are confident that when users follow the instructions and use a supported drone and remote combination, the app will do what it is supposed to do.

We are not satisfied with how the first release went, and we understand that it may have put NLD FCC in a bad light for some users.
That is exactly why we have taken this release seriously, fixed the problems, improved the guidance, and reset trials so everyone can test the new version properly.

Thank you to everyone who reported issues, shared feedback, and helped us improve the app!
