Introducing PreFlight: Stream the dream!

Introducing PreFlight: Stream the dream!

NLD FCC has officially morphed into PreFlight.
The old name did not fit the purpose anymore.
FCC is still there, along with 4G, parameter editing, macros and the rest — but PreFlight is now much more than just an FCC app.

And PreFlight 2.1 starts with something we have wanted for a long time:

Flight Screen Streaming

PreFlight can now stream the entire flight screen to another device.

On local WiFi, the latency is extremely low — low enough that you can actually fly using a large monitor, TV, laptop or tablet instead of staring at the small controller display.

No HDMI cable. Open the stream on the big screen and fly.

And because PreFlight streams the actual flight screen rather than just the camera feed, the person watching sees what the pilot sees — telemetry, warnings, maps, controls and everything else on screen.

There is also Internet Broadcast.
With a Watch Code, link or QR code, someone somewhere else can watch your flight screen live over the Internet. Latency is kept as low as the connection allows.

That makes it useful for much more than simply showing off a flight. An instructor can follow a student pilot, a second operator can watch from another location, a customer or supervisor can follow the job remotely, or someone can simply look over the pilot's shoulder without actually having to stand there.

It also opens up a lot of possibilities in the realm of professional and enterprise use.

Give PreFlight a try

Since this is a new name and a pretty significant release, we have reset all trial keys.
So if you already tried NLD FCC in the past, you get another shot.
Download PreFlight 2.1, try Flight Screen Streaming on your own setup and see what you think.
